Greg Booker Photography Exhibit at Lewis University

Lewis University will host an art exhibition by artist Greg Booker. The show will be on display from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily and runs from June 20—August 8 in the Brent and Jean Wadsworth Family Gallery, located on Lewis University’s main campus in Romeoville. A reception and gallery talk will take place from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, at the gallery. The exhibit and gallery talk are free and open to the public.

Gregory Booker received his B.A. from Drury University in 1987 and his MFA from the University of Oklahoma in 1993. He has worked for a major oil company as an in-house photographer, in the pre-press industry and later at the Kansas City Star as a photo editor. He’s currently an associate professor at Drury University where he teaches photojournalism in the communications department.

The Art Gallery is part of the Oremus Fine Arts Center at Lewis University. The Department of Art and Design manages the gallery, which include Lewis University student shows, local and regional artist shows, annual high school exhibits, faculty shows, academic based exhibitions and cultural and religious-based art shows.
