Credit Balance Refund

The Bursar Office utilizes an electronic credit balance refund system, Student Choice Refunds, managed by Nelnet Campus Commerce. If a student account reflects a credit balance after Federal Student Aid has been applied to current charges or due to overpayment, a refund will be issued. Refunds are not issued until after the class drop period and once the student has started enough classes for that term to be considered ½ time status. Students have the option to authorize the credit to remain on the account, request a partial refund, or transfer available credit to flight accounts by going to myLewis.

Lewis University recognizes that you want your credit balance as quickly as possible and partnered with Student Choice Refunds through Nelnet Campus Commerce to offer you an easy and convenient way to receive your refund.  Direct Deposit is quick and easy.  Simply provide your bank account information to receive your funds directly.
